• 10+ years in complex, large-volume data environments
• 7+ years writing SQL/PLSQL for ad-hoc analysis and performance tuning
• 5+ years building data solutions on Snowflake (SnowPro Core certification required)
• 3+ years developing Python-based data pipelines with Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark
• Hands-on experience with Airflow (or equivalent orchestration tools)
• Proven track record in hybrid on-premises and cloud data architectures
• Strong understanding of E-R modeling and advanced warehouse designs (fact tables, temporal models)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at translating business needs into technical solutions
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

As a member of the Controls Engineering, Measurement and Analytics (CEMA) team, you’ll modernize our cloud data platform to strengthen cyber-risk oversight firmwide. Your Snowflake expertise and Python tooling will power scalable, front-to-back assessment, measurement, and monitoring systems—enabling robust analytics and reporting for Technology Risk functions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, develop, and manage our Snowflake data warehouse, leveraging data sharing, time travel, and Snowpark
• Establish best practices and integrate Snowflake with Airflow, dbt, Spark, and CI/CD pipelines
• Build and maintain Python-based data pipelines (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) for structured and unstructured data
• Monitor query performance and data-load workflows, applying tuning and workload optimization strategies
• Support QA/UAT by diagnosing data issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and recommending resolutions
• Integrate Snowflake with internal platforms for data quality, cataloging, discovery, incident logging, and metrics
• Collaborate on requirement gathering, architectural design, and delivery with cross-functional teams
