Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities. UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a skilled Urology Physician with robotics experience to join our team in Athens, Texas. This full-time position provides a balance of outpatient and inpatient care, offering the opportunity to practice advanced robotic-assisted urologic procedures while managing a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and have experience with robotic surgery. Requirements: Board-certified/board-eligible in Urology. Robotics experience required (Da Vinci Robotic platform preferred). About the Position: Patient Load: 20-25 patients per day (outpatient & inpatient combined) Surgical Volume: 1- 5 surgical patients per week (robotic and non-robotic cases) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Call Schedule: 10 days per month and 1 weekend Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day.
