Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on fixed assets and capital accounting.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and fixed asset accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Experience working in a BPO or shared service environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to work in a Fixed Night Shift schedule and during PH holidays.
  • Must be amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa once WIO resumes (temp WFH).

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset ledger in accordance with company policy and US GAAP.
  • Review and process capital expenditure requests and monitor project spending to ensure proper capitalization.
  • Perform month-end close activities related to fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records for asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and impairments.
  • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of capital-related accounts and reports.
  • Analyze variances in fixed asset transactions and ensure proper allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for asset tagging, physical inventory, and project closeouts.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing schedules and reconciliations related to fixed assets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
