You will be responsible for :
The Commercial Finance Manager will influence Neurovascular business decisions based on analyses to meet or exceed financial commitments in the forecast and strategic plans. He/she will provide financial leadership and guidance to business partners and finance staff as well as ensures that appropriate financial processes and systems are in place in accordance with local government laws and corporate policies. You are the key point of contact for the business and play a critical role in driving sales and profitability, as well as evaluating programs, pricing and commercial initiatives. Responsibilities include performing sales and profit analytics, leading meetings with selling and marketing leaders, interacting with finance management and other functional areas throughout the organization including preparation of ad hoc materials used in senior level reviews. You will be responsible for providing oversight, direction, and financial leadership to their team and the broader finance organization.
This role conducts financial analysis of costs, pricing, variable contribution (margin), and analysis of sales results. The individual deploys dashboards and business scorecards and supports ad hoc analyses to drive business decisions and determine return on investment. He/she partners cross functionally to develop solutions to a variety of commercial items with varying levels of scope and complexity. You will exercise discretion within defined procedures and practices to assess appropriate courses of action. The individual analyzes company actual performance vs. business plan, which may include pricing, profitability, and variances analyses. You will develop strategies to meet finance group objectives by leading operation and cost-effectiveness of systems and programs.
All employees are responsible for ensuring compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements and supporting compliance processes. You are also required to enforce all company guidelines, policies and procedures related to Health, Safety and Environmental, and ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • CPA, CMA, and/or MBA are preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years progressive accounting experience or related business experience is required;
  • Experience in Commercial Sales/Marketing support is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • The ability to think strategically and creatively and work in a team environment is required.
  • Must possess ability to lead a team and influence change.
  • Must have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills.
  • Capability to lead a project or team and deliver results through others is required.
  • People management experience preferred
  • This position may require up to 5% domestic travel.
  • This position is located in Irvine, CA.
