Description REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales CLASSIFICATION: Full Time/Exempt Location US headquarters in Parma, Ohio – onsite daily, NOT virtual, NOT hybrid. OVERVIEW Ei6 is a graphite company that provides high-quality graphite products, including multiple grades of powders, and specialized machining services that help industries like aerospace, defense, and energy meet their toughest challenges and material needs. This role operates in an industrial environment where fine graphite powder may be present. The company maintains strict safety and environmental controls, and appropriate protective equipment is provided for use in the production areas. The US Commercial Sales Lead is responsible for generating, prospecting and qualifying leads, supporting the sales pipeline, providing support for the sales team, managing select customer accounts, and providing data input, analysis and reporting. Additionally, this position provides direct support to the Vice President of Sales and the sales team. In addition to working with the sales team, this position also interacts and collaborates with counterparts in Brazil, Operations, Quality and Production. The Commercial Sales Lead serves as a back up to other internal commercial sales functions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Lead Generation, Assessment & Distribution of Warm Leads to Sales Team Identify and research potential customers and target accounts Conduct outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, Zoom info, etc,) to generate new leads Qualify inbound and outbound leads and route appropriately Maintain and update prospect information in CRM (Hubspot/Accumatica) Enter into Hubspot and assign sales manager Forward warm leads to outside sales (decision maker, locations, expectations) Cold calling Follow up with sales manager Update in Hubspot (active or inactive) Hubspot campaign management (or other methods for outreach to potential customers; For promotions, trade shows, etc. Inside Sales Support Respond to customer inquiries and provide product/service information Be point of contact on website and for incoming calls, inquiries and quotes (clarify this with OPs); then cascade to appropriate dept. (powders, machine or trade) Support the sales team in advancing opportunities through the pipeline Track and manage “inside-managed” sales and leads activities in Hubspot Attend meetings regularly or as needed (S&OP/Production Team, Sales Meetings) Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals (back up) Maintain quote log/pipeline (back up) Account Management (Select Accounts) Be account manager for targeted accounts – this may require in person visits to customers Maintain relationships with assigned customers Support repeat business, blanket orders, and upsell opportunities Act as a primary point of contact for day-to-day customer needs Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and responsiveness Reporting & Analysis Generate regular sales reports (pipeline, activity, conversion rates, opportunity management) Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities Support forecasting and sales planning efforts Provide insights to improve sales processes and performance Communicate customer feedback to improve offerings Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with marketing on campaigns and lead quality Partner with operations or technical teams to support customer needs Elevate A/R requests with Brazil Contact customers on late payments – liaison with Sales management and finance department Provide Support to Sales Vice President Data collection and analysis Customer visit coordination Trade show coordination Monitor opportunities – liaison with sales team Market analysis Support outbound calls or campaigns Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities Support trade shows or customer visits (as needed) Product and Customer Knowledge Expert Develop strong understanding of: Product lines Applications Actual customers- customer base Customer industries Requirements Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) · 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, business development, and/or sales support -preferably in a technical business · Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills · Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools · Experienced problem solver and critical thinker · Proficiency speaking and writing in Spanish and Portuguese is desired · Direct sales experience is a plus Key Skills & Competencies · Lead generation and prospecting · Customer relationship management · Analytical thinking and reporting · Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail · Problem-solving and initiative · Ability to manage multiple priorities · Collaboration skills · Selling skills OTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
