About the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated US Immigration Specialist who is best in class with a high IQ and a high EQ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with significant prospects for career advancement What You'll Do: Manage the end-to-end US immigration process for new and existing employees, including visa applications, green cards, and work permits. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and external counsel on all immigration-related matters. Prepare, review, and file various immigration petitions and applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all government regulations. Maintain and update employee immigration records, ensuring data integrity and timely action on renewals and expirations. Stay current on changes in US immigration law and policies, and effectively communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Develop and implement internal immigration policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience. Act as a liaison with external immigration counsel, coordinating on all immigration matters, including appeals and permanent residency applications. Manage Canadian migration processes on a minority basis for employees, including preparing and reviewing visa applications and advising on eligibility for various programs. What We Look For: Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies. Proven experience in managing US immigration processes, including a strong understanding of H-1B, L-1, TN, and E-3 visa categories. Familiarity with the permanent residency (green card) process, including PERM, I-140, and I-485 applications. Experience with Canadian immigration is highly desired. Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with external legal counsel, managing communications and case-related documentation. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and effectively collaborate with employees, managers, and legal partners. A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced technology or fintech company. Experience with global immigration, beyond just the US. Familiarity with immigration case management software.
