Location: The US Regional Cyber Security Lead is a remote position, with preference given to candidates in Tempe, AZ, Austin, TX, Allentown, PA, Carlsbad, CA, or Burlington, MA. There will be approximately 15% domestic travel to the aforementioned locations to meet business needs. Your Role: As the Regional Cyber Security Lead within EMD Electronics (EL) Cyber Security team, you will report directly to the Head of Cyber Program & Strategy Implementation Electronics. Your primary responsibility is to drive the EL Cyber Security strategy within a designated region, collaborating closely with local country cyber security managers in your team and the broader EMD (EL) organization, primarily at our manufacturing and R&D sites. You will support the implementation of organizational and technical measures to ensure regulatory compliance and enhance cyber security maturity. As an IT/OT cyber security single point of contact (SPOC), you will offer expert advice and support for projects and operations, while monitoring and managing cyber security risks and incidents according to the EL Cyber Security Operational Model. Primary responsibilities include overseeing regional cyber security operations, developing and implementing cyber security processes and measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong cyber security background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement regional cyber security strategies and measures. Conduct regular cyber security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses. Provide leadership and support during cyber security incident resolution. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Act as an IT/OT cyber security SPOC to provide expert advice and support for projects and operations in line with the EL Cyber Security Operational Model. Collaborate with IT, OT and other departments to enhance cyber security measures at local manufacturing and R&D sites. Provide cyber security training and awareness programs for employees. Manage and mentor a team of cyber security professionals through solid line reporting. Prepare and present reports on cyber security status and incidents to senior management and EL cyber security organization. Stay updated with the latest cyber security trends and threats. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cyber security, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM). Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH. Knowledge of cloud security and data protection. Experience in incident response and forensic analysis. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Pay range for this position: $154,800 - $216,000 The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
