Client Relationships: Be the trusted advisor, the first line of offense (and sometimes defense) for our clients. You will be handling a small volume of clients with large aspirations. Your job is to ensure that every client is getting what they want out of our team ongoing. Ongoing Operational Tasks: Month-End Close Process Process Documentation and Improvement (Tech is your best friend) Tax Prep & Review – Sales Tax, Payroll Taxes, Franchise and Annual: Review business clients' returns to be filed Conduct tax planning and research when needed Stay updated with tax laws. Tax Duties: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance for all clients. Analyze and solve complex tax issues. Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Stay organized and detail-oriented. Learn from experienced team members while being flexible to do what’s best for clients. Preferred Qualifications: Eager to learn and innovate. Experience working with small businesses. Familiarity with multi-state tax filings. CPA or EA preferred. 5+ years of experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
