Job Summary:
Join Sanofi’s contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, as a Data Scientist I for a 12-month contract.
This role is eligible for hybrid once fully trained.
In this onsite role, you will collaborate closely with R&B Scientists and technicians to enhance data operations and practices, implement automated data workflows, ensure proper data collection processes, and design data infrastructure to expedite analysis and reporting. Your contributions will lead to harmonized data management across R&B teams and drive efficiency in data utilization.

Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade current data operations and practices in specific sites
  • Build automated data workflows and troubleshoot inefficient workflows
  • Ensure proper functioning of data collection process and integration
  • Design, develop, and modify data infrastructure to accelerate data analysis processes
  • Organize appropriate data collection methods for harmonized data management
  • Create digital tracking systems and automated QC dashboards within Benchling
  • Support scientists in organizing and ingesting unstructured data
  • Maintain data management plans for critical test article-related data
  • Assess system performance and recommend improvements for hardware, software, and data storage

Skills:

  • Proficiency in IT environment and script programming for automated tools
  • Experience with C#, C++, Python, SQL programming languages
  • Strong understanding of data administration duties such as collection, analysis, distribution
  • Knowledge of modern database technologies for organizing large volumes of data
  • Ability to develop tools to interface with electronic lab notebook Benchling
  • Experience in developing workflows for technology optimization
  • Familiarity with DNA/RNA analytical tools like PCR, cloning/plasmid generation
  • Previous experience with Data mining, database management, machine learning algorithms
  • Ability to function effectively in collaborative cross-functional teams

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
