Job Description Summary Responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting and analysis through strong technical accounting compliance, operational and financial internal controls, and process simplification for USCAN region. This role contributes to accounting operational excellence by applying Lean principles, automation, and AI tools to streamline accounting processes. The analyst will work cross-functionally, using a deep understanding of key business drivers and how their work integrates with broader team objectives to deliver high-quality financial outcomes. Job Description Roles & Responsibilities: Execute general accounting and policy application across key accounting areas involving multiple Balance Sheet & Income Statement Areas. Interpret and apply GEHC GAPs, SOPs, and Process Maps to ensure globally competitive financial processes. Assist in preparing and recording journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for audits and compliance. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Prepare internal financial reports, variance analyses, and ad hoc updates to support deep dives & business decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial data. Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies. Leverage automation tools and AI technologies to enhance data accuracy, reduce manual effort, and accelerate reporting. Provide guidance & supervision to Contractors (team members) and communicate complex information clearly and effectively. Apply professional judgment and technical expertise, under supervision, to solve problems using insights from multiple internal sources. Operate with a certain level of autonomy in executing standard practices while contributing to broader team and business goals. Required Qualifications This role requires significant experience in Finance & Accounting. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience). CPA / ACCA / CA / CMA preferred 5–7 years in accounting or commercial finance Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills – essential for explaining complex financial data clearly and collaborating across teams. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems – applies analytical thinking and judgment to troubleshoot accounting issues and improve processes. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute projects – supports initiatives such as automation, Lean projects, and compliance enhancements with structured planning and communication. Established project management skills – manages multiple priorities and contributes to cross-functional projects with accountability and efficiency. Preferred working in USCAN time Zone.
