Description
Description Vistra seeks an experienced Budget Analyst serves as the primary financial advisor for the TCA Program and provides financial analysis and subject matter expertise on the execution of program funds. The Budget Analyst will work with the Program Manager to support the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the TCA program. BA duties include preparing budget request, completing funding documents, and completing budget actions within a variety of CENTCOM and other DoD administered digital systems. Key Responsibilities: The Budget Analyst will advise and assist program stakeholders with preparation and submission of event budgets. Review and revise the TCA Program accounting structure (local categories, codes, etc.) annually to ensure it is suitable for the upcoming fiscal year and coordinate with the Comptroller as required to maintain the structure throughout the year. The Budget Analyst will obtain funding from the Program Manager and prepare and submit the annual program Spend Plan when tasked by the Comptroller. Monitor budget execution and update the Spend Plan throughout the fiscal year in response to event date changes, additions, and cancellations. Additionally, analyze Spend Plan execution, identify and explain variances, and prepare narrative justification to support financial requirements when requested by the Program Manager or CCJ5 leadership. Coordinate across CENTCOM Directorates, OSD, COCOMS, DATTs, and PEOs Excellent communication skills Proficiency in MS Office 365 Requirements Qualifications: Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance Education: Bachelor Degree, An associate’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, and seven or more years of qualifying experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree and four years' experience Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience.
