Hiller Comerford Injury & Disability Law has an opening for a U.S. District Court Case Manager/Legal Assistant. This candidate must possess excellent phone skills, writing skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment. This candidate must also be reliable , highly organized, and able to multi-task. The person in this role must have the ability to handle confidential information.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and track Social Security Disability cases through the U.S. District Court process.
  • Prepare and file complaints and other necessary legal documents or motions in federal court.
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other departments within the firm.
  • Review court emails and follow internal procedures to ensure deadlines are timely added to the system and calendars.
  • Conduct research as required to ensure procedures and filings are accurate and complete.
  • Ensure compliance with all deadlines and federal court procedures.

Experience in a legal setting is preferred, but not required.
Education: Associates Degree or higher required.
