This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for vehicles and a strong understanding of the inner workings of a dealership's used car department. As a Used Automotive Internal Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our used car sales team, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a high level of organization. Your responsibilities will include managing repair orders, assisting with trade-ins, and collaborating closely with both the used Automotive sales manager and recon manager to ensure the quality and presentation of our pre-owned vehicles. Used Automotive Internal Service Advisor Key Responsibilities: Open and close repair orders (ROs) for the used car department in a timely and accurate manner. Inspect trade-in vehicles each morning, assessing their condition and making necessary recommendations. Write clear and engaging used car ads that highlight key features of each vehicle and attract potential buyers. Work closely with the used car sales manager and recon manager to develop accurate repair estimates for vehicles in the used car inventory. File paperwork related to vehicle transactions, repairs, and other used car department activities in an organized and efficient manner. Maintain an organized and clutter-free work environment to ensure smooth daily operations within the used car department. Qualifications Used Automotive Internal Service Advisor Qualifications Prior experience in an automotive environment is strongly preferred. Knowledge of the used car sales process and vehicle repairs is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
