This role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet dealership and safety standards before sale. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and takes pride in delivering quality work. Key Responsibilities Perform multi-point inspections on used vehicles Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns Complete reconditioning work, including brakes, suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, and general repairs Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filters, belts, hoses, and fluids Document all work accurately and clearly Communicate vehicle needs and repair recommendations to service advisors or management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer guidelines What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Consistent workflow with strong car volume Benefits package may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off Modern facility and equipment Supportive management and team-oriented culture Opportunities for growth and advancement Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience as an automotive technician (used car or reconditioning experience preferred) Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Own tools required Pennsylvania State Inspection License (or ability to obtain) preferred ASE certifications a plus, but not required
