What You'll Do: As a valued technician on our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every vehicle that leaves our shop runs safely and efficiently. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles using the latest diagnostic technology, all while working in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Used Car Technician Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a wide range of vehicles Perform thorough inspections to help our service advisor team explain the work that needs to be done on the car to help maximize profits Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle conditions Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standard and on schedule Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques Contribute to a positive team environment and shop culture by collaborating with colleagues INDSJBR Qualifications Used Car Automotive Technician Qualifications: ASE Certification or equivalent (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician Proficiency with digital tools, diagnostic software, and general computer skills Knowledge of and experience with shop management software Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills to effectively interact with service advisors and customers Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Medical, Vision, Dental Insurance, & more!
