Job Title: Used Car Buyer
Location: Mercedes-Benz Division (hybrid working available from one of our Dealerships)
Salary: £55,000 basic plus OTE up to £95,000
Employment Type: Full-time. Permanent

  • Previous experience in automotive used car sourcing and purchasing is essential
  • Proven track record as an experienced used car buyer.
  • Strong industry contacts and network.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and acquire profitable stock.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and appraise used vehicles for purchase based on market trends, condition, and resale value.
  • Negotiate purchase prices with sellers while ensuring profitability and fair deals for both parties.
  • Research market trends and vehicle pricing to stay competitive and informed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual sellers, auction houses, and fleet companies.
  • Accurately document purchase agreements and vehicle acquisition details.
  • Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to ensure seamless integration of purchased vehicles.
