Description The Used Car Buyer / KBB Buyer is responsible for sourcing, appraising, and acquiring used vehicles through multiple channels, including customer trade-ins, direct purchases, and off-lease opportunities. Responsibilities Appraise and purchase used vehicles. Manage and convert KBB leads; conduct vehicle inspections and finalize offers Determine competitive market pricing and reconditioning needs Maintain used-vehicle inventory levels and profitability Complete required purchase documentation and ensure compliance Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Management to support dealership goals Requirements Prior experience as a Used Car Buyer, KBB Buyer or similar automotive role. Strong knowledge of vehicle appraisal, market pricing, and reconditioning costs. Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
