Description The McCombs Automotive Group is searching for qualified applicants to fill our available used car manager positions. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in the sales department by overseeing their dealership's daily operations and inventory of used cars. On any given day, you may need to answer questions about vehicle models and features for customers, as well as assist sales employees in providing detailed inventory information, financing options, and information on vehicle repair and maintenance. We rely on our expert managers to facilitate an environment that offers a personalized car-buying experience to every customer who walks through our doors. Specific expectations for this role include: Overseeing the daily operations of the dealership, including staffing, budgets, and procedures Closely monitoring sales to ensure progress toward profitability and sales goals Providing detailed used car inventory management Establishing employee protocols, sales goals, and other quotas Planning and strategizing used car sales and processes to meet target goals Determining the future training needs of employees Ensure customer satisfaction by solving complaints, issues, and problems as they arise Facilitate the smooth daily functioning of the dealership Recruit, hire, and train service managers, sales associates, and finance department managers Attend manager meetings and maintain positive working relationships with owners, other managers, and dealership staff to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and budgets, and report findings to upper-level management Take initiative to stay up to date with current local, state, and federal vehicle sales regulations and automotive guidelines Requirements Demonstratable proficiency and experience co-managing a new or used car desk. Valid Driver's Licence Clean Background Ability to pass a drug test
