Your main duties include: Diagnosing concerns: Using tools to identify potential problems with vehicles. Repairing Systems: engine systems, brake and steering systems, electrical and electronic systems, transmissions, fuel components, and cooling systems. Performing Maintenance: Conducting emissions inspections, safety checks, vehicle examinations. Customer Interaction: Explaining repairs and issues to drivers, providing excellent customer service. Documentation: Maintaining accurate paperwork reflecting work performed. Safety and Cleanliness: Ensuring a clean, safe working environment. Test Drives: Holding a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives. Qualifications: Requirements Relevant education and training in automotive technology. Experience in diagnosing and repairing vehicles. ASE certifications A1 thru A8
