Job Description
Would you like to shape the future of Vanderlande? Are you on top of UX trends and like to form a UX vision for our solutions? As a UX Technology Architect, you own and enhance our Design System and drive our (software) development jointly with our UX Community of Practice. You will work together with a team of entrepreneurial business and technology experts to realize the evolving needs of the customers and the company strategy of Vanderlande.
Your department
The Innovation & Enabling Technologies group is part of the Technology organization within Vanderlande and is responsible for the platform architecture of Vanderlande’s product portfolio across all market segments. Your department drives standardization of products and modules. At the same time, it provides the Business Units with the necessary agility to quickly and efficiently create tailored customer solutions out of a set of standardized building blocks.
Your position
You are eager to ensure that the needs of our customers and users are well understood, as you firmly believe that customer- and user insights are crucial for designing and developing the right solutions, products and services. You leverage your background in UX design along with your management skills to guide and support the UX design community in achieving the highest standards of ergonomics, usability, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor UX designers, and champion best practices in user-centered design.
You will steer and facilitate the growth of our UX competence, ensuring that UX principles are integrated into Vanderlande’s solutions and modules to provide an optimal user experience for our customers and users. You will own the UX Roadmap and the UX Design System, empowering our development teams to effectively utilize these standards and guidelines. Collaboration and communication are essential to you, as you will work with the UX community, the Design System team, and product management and development teams to implement our UX vision and standards.
