Responsibilities

As a (Senior / Expert) UX Designer (f/m/d) in the SAP Build Product Suite team, you wil

  • Drive Holistic, User-Centric Product Design: Lead the end-to-end design process for complex features and cross-cutting initiatives. Balance user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints to craft intuitive, elegant experiences that scale and align with the product’s UX vision
  • Shape Product and Design Strategy: Act as a strategic partner to product and engineering leadership. Bring a strong user perspective to planning, proactively identifying opportunities to improve experience quality, consistency, and cohesion across the product suite
  • Influence Across Teams: Mentor and empower other designers through feedback, design reviews, and knowledge sharing. Champion design excellence beyond your immediate team by shaping guidelines, fostering alignment, and upskilling peers across the UX, product and engineering communities.
  • Leverage Research and Data at Scale: Regularly engage with users, customers and partners during design iterations, usability testing and events. Collaborate closely with researchers and analysts to interpret qualitative and quantitative data. Use insights to drive design decisions that demonstrably improve usability, engagement, and user outcomes
  • Elevate Quality and Accessibility: Aim to eliminate design and UX debt in all stages of your work. Uphold SAP’s high standards for accessibility, visual consistency, and usability across our multiple products and design system
  • Lead Through Influence and Vision: Represent UX in cross-organizational discussions. Advocate for the value of user-centered design in achieving business success, and articulate design rationale effectively to executives and non-design audiences
