DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for a User Experience (UX) Engineer to join their Technology team. This role will provide critical support to their end users, with a focus on delivering exceptional Level 1-3 support, VIP staff assistance, and leading a significant device rollout initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach to delivering white glove support.
This is initially a 6-month contract, with a likelihood of extensions, requires at least 3 dpw in the office with hybrid working a possibility and is based in Melbourne Western Suburbs.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/EUC support, including Level 1-3 technical support.
  • Proven experience supporting VIP staff or executives with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and mobile platforms (iOS/Android) with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and challenges.
  • Familiarity with device management tools such as Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace One.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale device rollouts and migrations.
  • Experience with Cisco AV equipment setup and support.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering “white glove” service.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team focused, flexible and with an attention for detail.
  • Organised and able to prioritise work while working autonomously or collaboratively.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) qualification.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, or Cisco Collaboration certifications.
  • Experience with ITIL processes or other IT service management framework.
