Description:
At Autodesk, we reinvent how everything you see or touch is imagined, designed, and created. In Autodesk Construction Cloud, we are reinventing how every building, bridge, hospital, campus, and stadium is built. Our platform allows customers to effectively and efficiently manage the complex collaboration and coordination necessary to see their projects through all construction phases.
The ACC platform for the Construction team is responsible for a range of mobile and web-based products contributing to our BIM Collaborate and BIM Collaborate Pro solutions.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated user experience researcher to join our team in supporting the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) products. The ACC user experience research team’s mission is to inform and influence product decisions through rich insights about the behaviors and motivations of our users. In this role, you will work with product and UX design stakeholders to scope, plan and execute user research that informs design and product decisions. You’ll advocate for our users and blend their needs with those of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop impactful research studies designed to uncover new insights about users: design research plans, recruit participants, and conduct interviews with users.
- Synthesize data gathered during research into insights relevant to critical decisions
- Communicate research findings to stakeholders in order to inform product decisions and build empathy across the organization
- Work closely with product managers, designers and engineering leads to develop critical research questions, appropriate research plans, and recommended action based on insights from the research.
- Partner with our data team to bring qualitative meaning to quantitative insights.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience in user experience
- Interest in and experience executing hands-on translating research findings into strategic narratives
- Experience running iterative testing embedded in a cross-functional team
- Experience leading research initiatives that inform product & design direction
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and adept at navigating ambiguity, you set your schedule and drive it forward.
