Overview About the Role We’re looking for a dedicated User Support Specialist III to join our hospital’s IT team. In this vital role, you’ll provide front-line technical support to clinical and administrative staff, ensuring smooth operation of healthcare technologies that directly impact patient care. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Supports the end-user community in the effective access and use of University Hospital. Monitors and troubleshoots HL7 Protocol Application interfaces. Performs basic hardware repair. Assists with the preparation of documentation and informational materials for non-technical users Understands and accepts the responsibilities of working in a 24/7 environment Qualifications What You’ll Bring Required: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. One (1) year of experience in use or support of desktop computing Must be proficient in PC support and be able to work in a team environment. Effective oral and written communications skills. Equivalent experience, education, and/or training (IT certifications) may be substituted for the education requirements. University Hospital considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education and training, key skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational needs. The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
