EDUCATION

The successful candidate will have at least a high school degree and some experience working in the IT industry (preferred). It is expected that the candidate can work online, occasional evenings and weekends. Experience in a not-for-profit organization would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Training and IT Manager, the IT Assistant will be responsible for maintaining computer and IT equipment in all three TIES locations, ensuring smooth operations of the applicable software, and assisting TIES staff with their day-to-day computer-related issues.
- Maintain and fix computers issues (staff and labs) to facilitate work delivery.
- Ensure stable network connectivity and reliable access to the resources and the internet.
- Monitor and maintain the computer systems as well as the networks within an organization
- Troubleshoot and fix technical issues related to internet connectivity.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve network devices and technical problems.
- Maintain confidentiality concerning the information processed, stored or accessed by the network.
- Maintain computer and other devices to ensure that they are functional, free of viruses, threats, clean, and smooth.
- Monitor and maintain secure access to Office 365 Intra ID, the integrity of data, ensure the stability and reliability of the services.
- Maintain client files, attendance records, evaluation records for all training programs.
- Assist in recruiting the students to the training programs and secure their classes.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor and assist on Asset/Inventory Management
