Utilities Manager Location – Bedfordshire Purpose of the role: We are looking for an experienced Utilities Manager to lead and coordinate all utility works across the West Gateway Zone Project. Acting as the key liaison between project stakeholders, you will develop and manage the utilities diversion strategy, ensuring works are planned and delivered efficiently to support the wider construction programme. You will bring proven experience working with statutory undertakers, including Gas, Water, LV, HV, and Telecoms providers, alongside strong stakeholder management and coordination skills. What you will be doing: • Lead and coordinate utility works to support successful project delivery. • Build positive working relationships with statutory undertakers, stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors. • Monitor progress, identify risks and constraints, and provide clear and timely project updates. • Maintain accurate utility records, diversion plans, and as-built information. • Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and utility providers to support effective communication and collaboration. • Develop and manage detailed utility programmes aligned to the overall project schedule. • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards, Codes of Practice, and Health & Safety requirements.
