The Water Reclamation Division (WRD) is responsible for the administration and treatment functions of the wastewater system and the production of reclaimed water at four water reclamation facilities that collectively treat approximately 60 million gallons per day.
The Water Reclamation Division is seeking a highly qualified Utilities Services Specialist. This position will be responsible for the accuracy and management of data collection, scheduling of corrective and preventative maintenance of Water Reclamation infrastructure, procurement of supplies and services, etc. Work involves communicating with department staff, vendors and other Orange County divisions on equipment failures, work order status, purchasing, shipping and receiving. This is also an entry-level technical position primarily responsible for maintaining Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data and metadata based on customer specified requirements. The position also performs GIS quality control processes using predefined processes and GIS application functionality.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree and two (2) years of experience in data management, clerical, or administration responsibilities; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver¿s license.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
Must possess advanced MS Office skills
