Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for working with aftermarket support for technical needs for Utility vehicle, Concrete pumping equipment, Concrete transportation equipment, stackers and water tanks for mobile equipment nationally sometimes internationally.
You will liaise with the sales team, factory engineering supply chain and the customer of our products. This role with have the excitement of being involved with new equipment going to market and supporting the current fleet operational.
The position does involve travel to mine sites, civil construction sites and other areas where our equipment operates. The expectation of this role is for higher skilled activities to take place for equipment commissioning trouble shooting and fault diagnosis.
Predelivery work and service on occasions will be needed. There is also an active hire fleet where pre-hire and de hire inspections are needed as well as on-site support.

Responsibilities
  • Technical support to customers internal and external
  • Advise and give feedback to the factory from customer feedback
  • Training of clients and commissioning of equipment
  • Repairs and maintenance based on request form the customers
  • On site support for hire fleet
  • Pre-Hire and De-hire inspection reports for equipment
  • Testing adjusting and fault-finding diagnostic
  • Root cause analyses of parts that are failing in the field along with inputs and advice on warranty claims
  • Installation of modification kits along with checking installation instructions from the factory
  • This role is an active role with a 60-70% field exposure
  • Site Maintenance Planning Auditing and Making recommendations on bestpractice site Maintenance programs
  • Building of training material
  • Other duties as required
