4am - 1pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday The Utility position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and waste disposal systems to ensure smooth and safe operations. This includes cleaning the dish room, floors, walls, service areas, loading docks, and equipment like dish machines and compactors. The Utility is expected to wash dishes, pots, and kitchen tools, manage waste, and follow all safety and hygiene protocols while operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proper uniform, communication with kitchen staff, and adherence to safety procedures are essential, along with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. This role requires a team-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and the physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods. While a high school diploma and prior kitchen or restaurant experience are preferred, no certifications are required. The work environment involves exposure to hot and cold temperatures, loud noise, and sometimes confined spaces. The Utility must consistently demonstrate a positive attitude, punctuality, and professionalism, especially during weekends and holidays. Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required.
