Company Description Total Energies signed major agreements covering several projects in the Basra region, designed to enhance the development of Iraq’s natural resources and to improve the country’s electricity supply. EGE project is part of the Iraq Gas Growth Integrated Projects (GGIP) deal signed in September 2021 with the objective to develop multi energies projects. After a proposal to reinject the AGUP ph1 associated gas, it has been decided end of 2023 to valorize the HP associated gas and to build an early gas treatment facility (EGEP). It is a fast-track project. The main challenges are: • Image/reputation of TotalEnergies in Iraq to succeed to start this EGE project (+ AGUP Ph1 + Solar Project) in 2025. Pressure placed by Iraqi government (Prime Minister + Minister of Oil) on TotalEnergies, and pressure placed on projects by TotalEnergies management. • Efficiency of installation in order to ensure the gas treatment and the reduction of flaring which is very important for the Iraqi government. • Costs: 300 M$ CAPEX+OPEX • Planning. Very challenging planning with ultra fast-track development (Detailed Engineering/Execution). • Management of authorities and interfaces. ArtawiGas 25 is executed out of TotalEnergies General Specifications perimeter, overall engineering under applicable international standards Job Description Goals The Utility Area Installation Lead is responsible of all Construction works related to the EGF activities in Utilities area: 1) Safety, 2) cost efficient, 3) high quality according to specifications, 4) in time, 5) in line with legal aspects and 6) with minimum disturbance Ratawi CPF1 operations. Will guarantee transparency in relations with subcontractors. Job dimensions Follow/check and support the DBOOM contractor on the Early gas treatment safety design (acid gas) and linepipes contractor. Direct Subordinates (number): 5 to 10 supervisors Project Budget: MUSD 300 CAPEX+OPEX ArtawiGas 25 allows to treat AGUP1 associated HP gas, instead of burning it for 2 years: treatment of 50MMscfd associated to a production from 60 kbopd (up to 120 kbopd by end of December 2025). Activities • HSE activities: - Support and enforce project guidelines, HSE objectives and global improvement (e.g. referential, Golden Rules, reporting, REX, audits, Maestro, trainings, HSE action plans…). - Responsible for the respect of the HSE Rules and Company Specifications for his activity (also in term of QA & QC) - Attend HSE meetings and training when necessary. - Initiate and/or Participate in Job Safety Analysis, make suggestions, stop dangerous situations, and report anomalies and dangerous acts. - Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe work practices • ASSET INTEGRITY: - Contributes to the Ratawi Asset Integrity initiative by reporting any anomaly, defect, bad practice, lack of equipment, lack of competence that could result in a major HSE incident or loss of production. • Daily Activities and missions: - Lead and coordinate construction activities for piping, mechanical, civil, and E&I works for the Utilities area directly with Contractor team - Follow up and ensure the selected Contractor’s to carry out works in their premises in prefabrication and under construction on the Sites - Ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. - Lead Construction engineering review - Prepare, Review and validate construction methods and work instructions closely with the construction contractor - Ensure the proper execution of the works in compliance with safety and environmental protection procedures, technical specifications, budgets, and schedules, - Check the procedures and task sheets of the Companies, participate, or control the risk analyses, help in the preparation / check the work permits, - Resolve technical issues on-site in coordination with engineering teams. - Manage subcontractors and ensure proper allocation of manpower and equipment. - Optimize and follow up the work schedules, to do this check the good organization of the logistics and the Contractor's site Control material deliveries and verify conformity with project requirements - Anticipate all potential problems, propose, if necessary, alternative "practical" solutions, - Organise Pre-commissioning activities, formalize handover dossier to Field Operations, ensure that mark-up documentation is reflecting the site condition and forward those to Engineering. - Monitor progress and report daily to the Construction Manager - Maintain good relationships with contractors, displaying flexibility when needed while also enforcing necessary standards. - Context and Qualifications We are looking for an experienced construction and installation engineer in onshore Greenfield and brownfield project with a very good knowledge of TotalEnergies General Specifications, rules, procedures and International Codes and Standards. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction field. 10 to 15 years of experience in the oil industry, with significant experience in Construction. Previous experience under SIMOPS works will be considered as a plus. Team player with ability to work collaboratively across complex project teams and interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team. Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus The position will be based in Basra (Iraq) on rotational basis (4 On/4 Off) Duration 6 months Additional Information ▪ Contract Duration: 0,5 year ▪ Place of mobilization: Iraq ▪ Status (resident / rotation): rotational 4/4 Open to all eligible candidates, with preference for those with Middle East experience.
