JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a new Utility Coordinator to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Utility Coordinator, you join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located at our client’s PMO office in south Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Administration and Document Control
  • Prepare, monitor and report on Utility Work Orders, material procurement (CDWM) and other procurements in AUR program
  • Actively manage and coordinate utility updates
  • Chair meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes
  • Cost and Schedule Control
  • Actively manage and update AUR schedule tracker, MPS and budget
  • Technical support and Oversight
  • Ability to review utility designs and coordinate designs review with DoR
  • Contract and Procurement Management
  • Ability to define and coordinate utility scope clearly from plans, specifications and CTA/agencies manuals
  • Perform plan take-offs and estimate material quantities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field of study
  • Minimum of one to five years of utility coordination experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Blue Beam, Adobe PDF and other applicable programs
  • General knowledge of office protocol, routines and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
  • Have good to great organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree(s)
  • Experience with Trimble (eBuilder) and other relevant project management software programs

Salary Range: $62,400 - $124,800, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
