Job Title: Utility/Customer Pick Ups Company Introduction: G&C Food Distributors is a re-distributor of refrigerated, frozen, and dry food. Location: Alachua, FL Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am - 3:30pm Job Summary: The primary function of the Utility position is performing all functions as needed for the customer, employee pickups, and special picks. The Utility position will receive job specific training on the operation of PIT equipment. Must be trained in the safe operation of all equipment. Essential Functions: * File print and generate invoice(s) * Check printer(s) regularly for orders * Selecting and comparing product to invoices in an organized and timely manner * Complete all special picks based on date and weight * Provide excellent customer service when greeting and loading the order * Utilize PIT equipment as necessary to complete tasks Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred * Reach Truck Certification * 1 year of order selection and warehouse experience in the foodservice distribution industry or related industry (2-3 years preferred) * Candidates must be in current position for at least six (6) months, in a good disciplinary standing and meet the job requirements of the position to qualify for the position Benefits: * EMPLOYEE HOT DEALS!
