This role is essential to maintaining a sanitary and efficient environment that supports the success of our food and beverage team. Where You Can Make an Impact Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, storage areas, and trash disposal areas. Ensure proper disposal of garbage and recycling, adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Restock clean kitchenware and equipment in designated locations for efficient use by kitchen staff. Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, notifying management of replenishment needs. Assist with basic kitchen duties as needed, such as food preparation or stocking supplies. Perform regular deep cleaning of dishwashing equipment and kitchen surfaces. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment. Work closely with the culinary and service teams to support smooth kitchen operations. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. Requirements Education/Formal Training: No formal education required; a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus. Experience: Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required. Knowledge/Skills: Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of dishwashing equipment operation and maintenance. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff. Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
