Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Utility Inspector to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing utility inspection processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing on-site teams to maintain the integrity of utility systems. Conduct thorough inspections of utility installations, including water, gas, electricity, and telecommunications systems Supervise and coordinate inspection teams to ensure efficient and accurate completion of projects Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards Identify and report potential issues or deficiencies in utility installations Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites Provide guidance and training to junior inspectors and team members Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the utility sector Qualifications Diploma in Civil/Architectural Engineering, or a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in utility inspection or a related field Proven experience in site supervision and team management In-depth knowledge of utility systems (water, gas, electricity, telecommunications) Proficiency in utility inspection techniques and procedures Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards Excellent ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in relevant software, including CAD and project management tools Relevant certifications in utility inspection or safety (e.g., OSHA certification) Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Kuwait Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: General Engineering Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Site Supervision Profession: Construction Supervision and Surveying
