SUMMARY

We are seeking a Line Technician to join our team at Can-Traffic Services Ltd. This role is vital in ensuring the precise identification and marking of underground utilities prior to construction activities. Located in Alberta, this position plays a key role in maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to workdays/nights/weekends or out of town if necessary
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • High School Diploma with previous line locating, mapping and GPS experience
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 and submission of a 5-year Commercial Driver’s Abstract with less than 5 demerits
  • Utility Advanced Line Locating Certification (PAL, CAPULC, or equivalent)
  • Air Brakes (Q) Endorsement is an asset
