Description
You will maintain and improve site utility systems that keep our manufacturing running safely and reliably. You will work closely with engineers, production teams, contractors and suppliers. Responsibilities - Operate, maintain and troubleshoot utilities systems including HVAC, chillers, boilers, compressed air, water purification and effluent treatment. - Supervise and coordinate day-to-day work by internal staff and contractors to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective completion. - Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, and keep accurate maintenance records in the maintenance management system. - Support utility-related projects from planning through commissioning and handover, including small capital works and upgrades. - Monitor energy and water use, identify efficiency improvements and support cost reduction initiatives. - Carry out risk assessments, self-inspections and gap analyses, and implement action plans to meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements. Experience, Education and Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics Engineering. - 3- 4 years of hands-on experience in utilities, maintenance or facilities in an industrial or manufacturing environment. - Practical experience with HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressed air and water systems. - Familiarity with preventive maintenance and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). - Strong safety awareness and knowledge of basic regulatory or quality standards. - Good communication skills in English and Urdu, and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. - Experience managing contractors, spare parts planning and inventory control. - Exposure to energy management and efficiency improvement projects. - Experience in commissioning and handover of utility projects. - Knowledge of local statutory requirements for boilers, pressure systems and effluent treatment.
