Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity We’re looking for a motivated Utility Worker to join our team in Lower Hutt, Wellington. In this role, you’ll provide general labouring, field support and assistance to Gas crews, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to specification. You’ll also help maintain equipment, optimise resource use, and communicate with clients, residents and the public as needed. Your day‑to‑day tasks may include operating plant and equipment (where trained), carrying out risk assessments, supporting job planning, documenting work, and ensuring all site activities meet safety, quality and environmental requirements. If you’re someone who is practical, reliable, safety‑focused and enjoys varied outdoor work, this role offers long‑term opportunity within a supportive team.
