Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Utility Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machinery and apparel manufacturing equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with CNC systems, and the ability to support various types of production machinery at our facility. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines and apparel production equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Repair and replace defective components, parts, and systems Troubleshoot machine malfunctions to minimize production downtime Assist with installation and setup of new machinery and equipment Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Follow all safety procedures and company policies Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency Preferred Skills Familiarity with PLC systems Basic understanding of CNC programming Experience in apparel, textile, or manufacturing environments Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) with company match Opportunities for advancement Requirements 2+ years of industrial maintenance or utility mechanic experience (CNC experience preferred) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical troubleshooting Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Experience working with CNC machinery and apparel/textile equipment preferred Welding and fabrication experience a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
