ABOUT THE JOB:

We’re looking for motivated Utility Operators to support a busy industrial site in Northern Ontario. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you’ll take on a variety of tasks every day, including:

• Operating different types of heavy equipment to support daily site operations
• Assisting dewatering crews with pipe and pump installation
• Helping skilled trades teams, including carpenters and millwrights
• Performing general labour duties to keep the site clean, safe, and productive
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions — from sunshine to snowstorms
• Jumping in wherever needed, based on your skills and comfort level

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Steel-toe boots, hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and Class 3 high-visibility workwear
• Completion of Levert online training and site-specific training modules
• Heavy Equipment Course Certificate and Surface Miner Common Core
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on a range of physical tasks
• Ability to work in all outdoor conditions, including extreme and harsh weather.
• Must be able to travel to Cochrane for site departures
