Join Our 5-Star Kitchen Team as a Utility Person (Full-Time) We are currently seeking a dedicated Utility Person to join our esteemed 5-Star Kitchen team! The ideal candidate will help maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment in a clean and orderly condition. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks for the dishwashing machine. * Set up assigned stations with pre-determined mise en place to service prepared items. * Wash pots, pans, and trays. * Sweep and mop kitchen floors. * Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks. * Segregate and remove trash and garbage into designated containers. * Steam clean or hose out garbage cans. * Sort and crush disposable bottles. * Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS (AS NEEDED): * Set up banquet tables. * Assist the production area with plating assistance. * Wash and peel vegetables. * Load or unload trucks delivering supplies. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * Must be 18 years of age or older. * High school or equivalent education required; experience preferred.
