MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Act as the primary point of contact for Repair & Maintenance Technicians.
Ensure that high-volume repair and maintenance work, along with customer interactions in your area, are conducted efficiently.

EXPERIENCE

Outstanding interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proficient IT skills and technology knowledge.
Ability to work towards targets, under pressure, and in urgent situations is essential.
Operational and technical knowledge of managing repairs and maintenance for water distribution networks and related support functions to achieve outstanding results.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and procedures, as well as comprehensive awareness of Health & Safety, Human Resources, NRSWA, Environmental, and Quality Assurance policies and standards.

CAPABILITIES

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and convey information clearly and effectively.
Capability to lead and inspire diverse teams by providing clear guidance and establishing appropriate standards of conduct.
Proficient analytical skills.

Responsibilities

As a Repair & Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the timely execution of scheduled tasks, ensuring that all work is technically proficient and adheres to the specified standards. You will be responsible for proactively managing the development and performance of the work schedule, as well as evaluating the specifications of the tasks involved. Additionally, you will oversee the daily operations of your teams.
The Repair & Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with removing daily obstacles by leveraging their technical expertise and ensuring that team members receive constructive coaching to complete tasks accurately on the first attempt. It will also be essential for you to ensure that teams comply with proper water quality protocols. You are expected to enhance the performance of Repair & Maintenance Technicians through personalised coaching, consistently aiming to uplift performance and foster new skills and methodologies.
Utilising technical knowledge and experience is crucial to ensure the effectiveness of Repair & Maintenance activities, as well as achieving quality assurance and control. Upholding strict adherence to Health & Safety standards, safe working practices, and standard operating procedures is imperative. When necessary, you will be responsible for conducting technical evaluations of team members and reporting your findings. You will also oversee onsite safety audits and ensure compliance with well-being protocols during field activities.
