Quaker Valley Foods, a refrigerated food distributor located in Northeast Philadelphia is looking to expand our Overnight Order Selector team! Are you detail oriented and able to select products accurately in a warehouse environment? As a warehouse worker, you'll select products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack. Our warehouse is temperature controlled, ranging anywhere from 30 degrees in the cooler to 0 degrees in the freezer. Responsibilities: Efficiently locate, select, stack on a pallet, and label product for shipment to customers. Navigate warehouse equipment to ensure customer orders are collected. Use wireless headset/voice-automated selection system. Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to optimize work completion. Perform visual inspections of orders to ensure they are correct and ready for shipment. Ensure company policies are met at all times. Qualifications: Able to lift up to 50lbs. frequently. Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen. Must have solid verifiable previous work history, preferably in a freezer based warehouse environment with 2 years ride on electric pallet jack experience Must be dependable. SCHEDULE: Overnight shift (8:30 pm start) 8 hour shifts Overtime available Requirements REQUIREMENTS Basic mathematic skills. Good communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills Ability to lift heavy loads (25-100 lbs) and remain standing for long periods 2+ years of experience using an electric ride-on standing pallet jack. Hands on experience in voice picking systems Attention to Detail. Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts in a cold environment Highschool diploma or GED
