UX ACCESSIBILITY CONSULTANT:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a UX Accessibility Consultant for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

UX ACCESSIBILITY CONSULTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

As part of the Frontline User Experience (FLUX) team, the UX Accessibility Consultant will ensure employee-facing platforms and applications are universally accessible for employees of all abilities. This role involves collaborating with various UX disciplines and partner teams to meet digital accessibility standards while providing an optimal banking experience for employees and clients.

UX ACCESSIBILITY CONSULTANT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Web Accessibility experience - 3 years
  • WCAG - 3 years
  • Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint experience - 3 years
  • Familiarity with HTML
  • Experience in digital space - 3 years
  • Strong communication skills

UX ACCESSIBILITY CONSULTANT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • UX tools such as Figma and Mural
Responsibilities
  • Ensure products and designs meet digital accessibility standards
  • Collaborate with UX disciplines, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and QA Testers
  • Make recommendations for design and build aligned with inclusive design standards
  • Provide high-level consultations and education for partner teams
  • Participate in user research and present findings
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
