Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in UX design.
  • 4 years of experience leading and managing design teams.
  • Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models.
  • Experience launching new products 0-1, driving product roadmap, and managing design discussions.
  • A portfolio of design work demonstrating shipped products and illustrating your design process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience managing product deprecation and user migration.
  • Experience in platform or internal tools design.
  • Experience managing senior-level or lead designers.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical and design topics to audiences.
  • Adept at navigating organizational complexity and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Highly technical, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and engage in-depth with engineering partners.

Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the design vision, strategy, and roadmap for a new AI-powered research platform.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and psychological safety. Partner with Product and Engineering to successfully launch the platform.
  • Lead the design execution for the migration of legacy UXRT research tools into the platform, defining a seamless transition strategy for thousands of users and executing a thoughtful deprecation plan.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to integrate AI/ML(i.e., LLMs and agent-based systems) to deliver magical user experiences for insight discovery and synthesis.
  • Hone a compelling design narrative that clearly articulates the business impact and user value stakeholders and leadership. Establish and own key success metrics to measure design quality and user experience, driving a culture of data-informed decision-making.
