Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be instrumental in designing the look, feel, and flow of these next-generation experiences. You will tackle ambiguous and complex design challenges, creating everything from high-level concepts to detailed, interactive prototypes. Working in a fast-paced environment with 2-week sprints, you will collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and product managers to visualize and build the future of tools like Android Studio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and prototype Client user experiences for orchestrating, debugging, and supervising a “bank of agents” working on complex software tasks.
Explore and visualize the future of the IDE, prototyping how developers will interact when the primary workflow shifts from writing code to prompting, reviewing, and correcting agent-generated work.
Create designs for a “No-Code” IDE, defining the UX primitives that replace traditional code editors for non-technical users focused on “vibe coding.”
Develop high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and validate them with users and stakeholders.
Work within the organization’s design systems while pushing the boundaries to accommodate new AI-driven paradigms.
