For our office in Delft, Kaiserslautern or Budapest, we are looking for a UX Designer - Design Systems. Your environment As a UX Designer - Design Systems, you’ll join a multidisciplinary product enablement team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other UX Designers. You’ll work in an environment that values creativity, user-centric thinking, and teamwork, with colleagues based in the Netherlands, Germany, and Hungary. You will report to a UX Manager and regularly engage with the Design System team and other stakeholders. Job Description Adapt the design system to enable accurate prototyping with AI tooling. Own components, patterns, and usage guidelines from definition to delivery. Proactively identify gaps in the enterprise system and translate insights into accessible, inclusive, and scalable solutions. Create prototypes to demo, test, and communicate component behavior to stakeholders. Facilitate ideation and problem-solving with teammates and stakeholders. Ensure consistency and efficiency across the system; propose new components or improvements when needed. Define how design and code intersect, including AI-driven and token-aware surface needs. Validate and refine components through feedback, usability testing, and data analysis. Deliver clear documentation and handover materials for seamless developer implementation. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to shape system decisions. Contribute to raising design maturity and improving design processes across the organisation Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in design systems and AI tooling. Qualifications 5+ years of professional UX design experience Degree or vocational qualification in design, HCI, or a related field. Deep knowledge of design systems; not just how they work, but why. Hands-on experience integrating design systems with AI tooling and token-based interactions. Skilled in Figma for component and pattern design, prototyping, and documentation. Experienced working across design, engineering, and accessibility. Confident driving strategic decisions in a product triad. Strong collaborator with clear communication across Engineers, PMs, and Designers. Passionate about accessibility, inclusivity, and solving complex system-level challenges. Proactive mindset; you come with a plan, not just intent. Portfolio showing end-to-end design system work at meaningful scale.
