You are an excellent communicator and know how to involve diverse stakeholders, with a wide variety of goals and wishes, in the design and development process. You will support multiple development teams and contribute to laying the foundation for user-centered design.

You will be involved in, among other things:

  • Developing UX concepts and customer-centric solutions, quickly getting to the core.
  • Explaining your designs with a practical and well-thought-out rationale.
  • Following existing guidelines and ensuring that your design complies with brand and product principles.
  • Identifying opportunities and iteratively translating them into designs of flows, components, and screens based on data about user behavior.
  • Contributing to our Design System by documenting your insights in the form of components, patterns, and other guidelines.
  • To translate past and newly acquired insights into (updates of) Personas, Customer Journey Maps, and Service Blueprints, also in end-to-end customer service processes.
  • Organizing interviews, user tests, and customer surveys, and setting up, conducting, and analyzing usability studies.
  • Identifying trends and developments in the fields of UX, e-commerce, and digital services.
  • Actively contribute to the further digital transformation of Mediq.

You will become part of the UX team that designs and makes solutions consistent for all countries where Mediq operates.

What are you bringing?

You are curious, analytical, flexible, have an eye for detail, and have a passion for understanding user behavior. You know how to translate research and data into practical solutions that actually make an impact. You know how to guide an agile team.

In addition, you have:

  • A completed education in Interaction Design, Communication and Multimedia Design, Product Design, or similar.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience as a UX or Product Designer in an e-commerce environment and/or with B2B, ideally with experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience working with multiple development teams in agile environments.
  • Experience with design systems, user research, and usability testing.
  • Experience with relevant tools such as Figma, Tailwind, Miro, Hotjar, and Google Analytics.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
