MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience with visual design in product or UX design environments.
  • Experience with prototyping, including leveraging GenAI tools and platforms.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience in concepting and developing ideas for new features and effects.
  • Experience in Motion design, product design or UX/UI animation.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with a cross-functional team to create and drive a user-centered product goal for teen-focused creation and connection experiences on YouTube, such as Creatables and GenAI Effects.
  • Execute the design process, from ideation and concept development to producing polished deliverables like mocks, wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
  • Manage design work across multiple projects and build strong relationships with Product Managers and Engineering partners, ensuring clear communication of priorities and a collaborative approach to product development.
  • Drive product innovation by guiding the product roadmap through user testing and concept development.
  • Contribute to a creative and supportive UX culture that values critical feedback and strives for excellence in design.
