Description

Are you a creative thinker passionate about crafting user experiences that don’t just work, but transform how people interact with technology? We are looking for an experienced UX Product Designer to join our close-knit team.
If you’re a self-motivated and curious person with an eye for visual interaction and a strong understanding of user-centred design principles, we’d love to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in UX design by leading the design of our digital products and platforms. You’ll join a collaborative and ambitious team with the autonomy to shape our digital future, contribute to key product decisions, and grow into a leadership role.

ABOUT US

We are Canvas8, a strategic insights practice operating out of London, NY, LA, & Singapore. We help our clients understand people so they can make better business decisions.
Our work is about investigating the hidden insights in everyday life – from the psychology of boredom to teenage make-up rituals to why Barbiecore is a Gen Y thing – and making them meaningful for brands. Our team is a blend of different disciplines and skills – from psychology to journalism, and anthropology to behavioural economics. What unites them is a desire to understand people and a passion for delivering outstanding work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7 years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio of end-to-end projects
  • Advanced UX skills, with solid UI capabilities and understanding of interaction design
  • Proficient in Figma, with working knowledge of tools like Notion, Linear, and Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development principles in relation to design
  • Expertise in user-centred design methodologies, information architecture, and prototyping
  • Experience developing and managing design systems and working closely with engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • A passion for solving complex design problems and creating innovative solutions
  • A strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies
  • Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus
Responsibilities

As our UX Product Designer, you’ll own the end-to-end design process across key products and tools that power Canvas8’s global insights platform. Reporting directly to the Strategy Director and working closely with developers and stakeholders, you’ll lead design initiatives that deliver measurable user value, drive engagement, and shape the evolution of our digital ecosystem.
This is a high-impact role with the autonomy to champion user-centred design and define the visual and functional standards across our suite of tools and platforms.
