JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a UX Research Democratization Program Manager to lead our established Research Democratization program. This role will work with design leadership and vendors to continue to expand the Research Democratization program and ensure active engagement of program alumni while leveraging standardization and developing processes to ensure quality. This role will work with design, risk and research teams to train designers in basic usability methods and oversee the research work of alumni.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Training designers to conduct simple usability studies.
  • Overseeing alumni research work to ensure quality and adherence to U.S. Bank research risk processes.
  • Managing the UX Research Democratization program to meet KPIs and ensure success for trainees, alumni and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellent skills in stakeholder management, scoping, methodology selection, facilitation, artifact creation, and presentation skills. In addition, they will have understanding of research methods, analysis, and reporting to be able to guide trainees and alumni in their work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Comprehensive knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
